Half-Time Science Teacher at Escalante High
POSITION ANNOUCEMENT: Garfield County School District is hiring a half-time teaching position for teachers certified in science (biology, chemistry, physics, integrated science and/or earth systems) for Escalante High School. This position will begin with the 2024-2025 school year.
SALARY: Step and Lane will be determined based on the 2024-2025 Garfield County School District Certified Salary Schedule and applicable teaching experience. This position includes retirement & paid time off.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must have or be capable of obtaining a Utah teaching license & needed endorsements within the time frame set by the board of education. Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not required. All applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check.
