Interim Board Meeting – Monday, October 7
An interim board meeting will be held on Monday, October 7 at 7:00 pm, at the Garfield County Courthouse Commission Assembly Hall. For those unable to attend in-person, a ZOOM link will be available on the day of the meeting.
September Board Meetings
The September board meetings will be held at Boulder Elementary School on Thursday, September 19. Please join us for the work meeting from 3:00 – 5:00 pm & the regular meeting starting at 5:00 pm. For those unable to attend
August Board Meetings

July Board Meeting
July’s Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 17 at the Garfield County Courthouse from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the Commission Assembly Hall (room 114). Additional information can be found under the School Board menu on the district

Change in Venue for Thursday’s Board Meetings:
This Thursday’s board meetings, originally scheduled to take place at Antimony Elementary, have been moved to the Best Western Plus - Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel in the Ponderosa Conference Room.
The timing of the meetings will remain the same:
3:00 pm - Work Meeting
5:00 pm - Regular Board Meeting
The reason for this change is to accommodate community members who wish to participate in both the school board meetings, and the political event which is also being held that evening across the street at Ruby’s Inn.

The Garfield and Kane County School Districts are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jeff Brinkerhoff as the new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Director. Mr. Brinkerhoff has served as the principal of Bryce Valley High School for 14 years and previously worked as a CTE teacher for nine years in various schools. We are confident that Mr. Brinkerhoff‘s skills and experience will significantly enhance the quality and range of our CTE programs, and we look forward to collaborating with him in his new role.

Computer Science night has been a huge hit across the Garfield County School District! There's still one remaining night at Panguitch Elementary on Wednesday, April 5th starting at 5:30. If you haven't been yet, make sure you come see all the exciting activities.

The District is located within beautiful Garfield County. The County is located close to Bryce Canyon, Zion's National Park, Brian Head, and a lot more. If you enjoy the outdoors and want to make an impact as an educator or District employee then this is the place.
Garfield County School District is hiring a part-time Para Professional at Panguitch Middle/High School. This position will be up to 28 hours per week with no benefits. Duties are to assist the school in providing those services identified in the student’s individualized education program. Collaborate with special education and regular education teachers. Other duties as assigned.
Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma and two years of college education or may complete the Para Pro Test to become highly qualified. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check. Applicant must work well with children.
